Nursing Staff
The nursing staff at Reproductive Partners – UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center plays an integral role in assisting you throughout your entire IVF cycle. When you meet our experienced team of medical professionals, you will notice their genuine concern and personal commitment to providing you with exceptional care. Patients frequently comment on the compassionate and supportive care our nursing staff has provided during their experience with us. An assigned IVF coordinator will meet with each couple after the initial consultation and will be in constant communication with the couple throughout their treatment. Your IVF coordinator will ensure close coordination of all aspects of your IVF treatment plan.They will assist in providing you with your daily lab results, scheduling your visits, as well as giving you individual, one-on-one instruction in patient teaching and medication instruction.
Laboratory Staff
The laboratory staff at Reproductive Partners – UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center is a team of highly trained embryologists. Our security in handling eggs, sperm and embryos is exceptionally meticulous in a truly patient oriented caring manner. Our laboratory staff will meet with each couple individually to discuss the results of the egg retrieval while at the center, will be in constant communication with them to discuss the results of the fertilization of the eggs and will have a personal detailed embryology consultation and review of their IVF cycle at the time of the embryo transfer.
Our embryology laboratory is supervised by Lisa Yeo CLS, TS/ELD (ABB). Lisa continues to practice the delicate ART techniques she has perfected over her 22 years of experience with IVF, while promoting her primary concern – the care and safe keeping of her patients’ embryos and interests. Lisa has been working with Dr. Garzo for over 15 years and has been at Reproductive Partners – UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center since its inception in 1998.
Fertility Patient Representatives/ Financial Coordinators
Our fertility patient representatives and financial coordinators are caring, kind, knowledgeable and available to assist you. In addition to answering your general questions, they will assist you in scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits and addressing any financial questions you may have. They can also direct you to other staff members who can provide you with more detailed information regarding infertility and your treatments.
