The Fertility Preservation Program provides consultation, as well as a comprehensive set of preservation options for patients facing fertility-threatening medical treatments.

"Many therapies that improve survival for cancer patients have side effects including loss of fertility and early menopause," said Dr. Su, a physician and reproductive epidemiologist at Reproductive Partners. "Advances in reproductive technology, including our new egg vitrification program, provide excellent options for preserving fertility."

Fertility preservation options through the new program include embryo and egg freezing, ovarian tissue banking, referral for sperm banking, assisted reproduction, egg donation and surrogacy.
