UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center and Dr. Gabriel Garzo will be hosting Grand Rounds OB-GYN. "The Importance of Single Embryo Transfer in In Vitro Fertilization," will provide a forum for participants to discuss topics on infertility and the history of in vitro. In addition, Dr. Garzo will describe current and forthcoming options for successful single embryo transfer and shed light on the risks associated with multiple births.

San Diego's only Fertility Expo is just around the corner. The fifth annual non-profit event with free admission and open for the public, will be held Saturday Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the International House Great Hall at UCSD. Dr. Garzo will be speaking at the 23rd Annual In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer course presented by the Office of Continuing Medical Education, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Garzo will be speaking on Gestational Surrogacy, Luteal Phase Support and Transfer Technique.
This program brings together a renowned faculty to present the latest developments in every phase of in vitro fertilization and embryo management. On Saturday, March 20, 2010, Dr. Garzo will be speaking on the topic of "The Law, Medicine, and Ethics of ART and Surrogacy," as part of a health law workshop conducted by the UCSD School of Medicine and California Western School of Law.
The two schools offer a joint Health Law Master's degree, which equips students to work at the intersection between the legal and medical/health care fields. Dr. Garzo will be at the San Diego Fertility Expo Saturday Oct. 10th, 2009, 11:30am – 4:30pm. He will be conducting free fertility consultations. The program also features lectures, fertility yoga, and acupuncture.
UCSD Regional Fertility Center is sponsoring Project Baby’s spa night at La Costa Resort on August 19th from 4-8 PM. Dr. Garzo will be there conducting free mini-consultations.
