Reproductive Partners – UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center was founded in 1998 by Dr. Gabriel Garzo and Dr. David Meldrum. Reproductive Partners, San Diego delivered the first Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) baby in San Diego County in 2001. In 2003, Dr. Sanjay Agarwal, Clinical Professor of Reproductive Medicine at UCSD joined Reproductive Partners – UC San Diego Fertility Center. The center has a unique relationship with the Department of Reproductive Medicine, University of California, San Diego and is the only university affiliated fertility program in San Diego County.
